After deciding to relocate from rural Franklin County to North Raleigh, my wife and I selected the Barker Realty Group to be our agents for both the sale of our home and the purchase of our new one.  We had only lived in our current home for less than a year and decided that we needed to be closer to the action.  We wanted a small local office with Realtors who lived in the local area.  From our first meeting with John and Bonnie Barker, it was evident that they were people we could trust and count on for the advice we were looking for.  We had previously purchased and sold a few homes and it is definitely true that all Realtors are not created equal.  John and Bonnie were truly representatives of our interests and always available for the myriad of questions and concerns we had throughout the process.  John personally took the photos of our home to post the listing on the Internet and they were phenomenal; providing the prospective buyer with the best views possible.  Our home sold in 7 days!  We were carefully guided through each of the required processes and the tons of paperwork without even so much as a slight bump in the road.  As far as our new home, we knew what we were looking for but we weren't real sure of the location.  As a result we kept Bonnie very busy looking at homes from one end of Wake County to the other.  It was never a hassle to schedule a walk-thru of the houses we liked and we never felt as though we were being rushed to make a decision.  Bonnie was very helpful when looking at homes; pointing out the pros and cons that we hadn't thought of making many of the decisions very easy. John and Bonnie have a network of lenders, lawyers, contractors, and other service professionals that are often needed during the home buying/selling process that were reliable and very reasonable, again relieving us of the stress of locating and securing such services.  As you can imagine, closing on one house in the AM and the other in the PM can present some challenging coordination efforts.  Ours couldn't have been any smoother.  Of the many home buying/selling experiences we've had, this one was by far the easiest.  We would suggest, without any hesitation, that you consider the Barker Realty Group the next time you are buying and/or selling a home in the Raleigh/Wake Forest Area.
